SpaceButler14 Posted September 21, 2003 Share Posted September 21, 2003 Ok, yeah, I jumped on the "ooh look at me, I'm so cool to criticize everything" bandwagon for a bit, but seriously, it's gone way overboard. The game is what it is, and having done a decent bit of dueling in jk2, I can say I'm having fun with ja multiplayer. Anyway, there are quite a lot of good things about the game which we shouldn't forget. Jk2 did a great job of creating an authentic and immersive StarWars atmosphere, and JA has exceded that quite admirably. Raven seems to have considered the fun factor quite seriously in giving variety to sp in response to the sameness of the game dynamic. I was also pretty worried before getting the game that the saber types would be unbalanced, and while everyone is still feeling around quite a bit, the single saber isn't a liability and people can do well with any type. Anyway, I like single player games too, I think JA shows quite a bit of hard work on the part of Raven, and I'm having fun in mp. Flame away.
