JosneRimed
I'm running an ASUS P4S533 motherboard with an Intel P4 2.2 chip. I am *supposed* to be able to run 533MHz front side bus speed. However I have run a couple different utilities that tell me I am at 133. I have jumperless BIOS settings however nowhere in my BIOS is there a bus speed option. I sent an email to ASUS tech support and this was the reply: ------------------------------------------ Dear valued Customer, Thanks for Contacting ASUSTeK. it is normal. the real clock of 533MHz FSB is 133MHz.if you want to get more detail information, please contact Intel for help. Thanks for choosing our products very much. Best Regards, ASUS Customer Service Center Shanghai ----------------------------------------------- Not very helpful eh? Does anyone have any advice? I am sure the only thing I will get from contacting Intel is a headache. Thanks much.
