Can you change the interior of your house?

If you buy a house is it possible to buy different types of furniture?

Also is it possible to change the color on some of the furniture or wallpaper?

From what I know the house interior is fixed, however a good Architect will be able to make many different colours & styles of furniture, you're free to do whatever you want with that furniture, you can use the

/rotate left 90

^left/right ^any number between 0 & 180

/movefurniture back 10

^ forward/back ^ any number

commands to move it about in your house once dropped...
