Level one - ledge

I must be dense, but no matter how I try I can't seem to get across the ledge after going on the rope ladders. This is after I have gotten the treasure from the pit. What am I not doing?

cant really remember the part you are talking about but i remember one at the top of the ledges where you have to use your whip
