Ice Monster in Shambala Sanctuary. Must be killed?

I've got bored of searching in the Ice Sanctuary. I have already the piece of the machine that brakes weak walls, but I don't know if I must find where to use it or simply kill the monster. If the monster must be killed, how could I do it?

Your help is highly appreciated. I'am really bored of being stuck!

You use the Urgon's part in inventory. I waited till it was close then press Ctrl at least 3 or 4 times. Hope this works for you.
