Mr. K
Monday night I decide to get my ass up and go to Future Shop to get Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. I drool over the box. I speed home, (really, I did) and pop CD 1 into the computer. Sloooow install but finally everything is done. I choose Jasp.exe, watch the console load, and then....Windows error. "Odd," I say to myself. I try again, with the same results. For the last 2 days I've browsed every tech support page/forum known to man, and have yet to find a solution to this. I've taken a screenshot of exactly where it goes boom. Computer Specs --------------------- OS:WinXP Professional 5.1 Service Pack 1 (Build #2600)() CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2100+ 1.73 GHz Video card: nVidia GeForce4 MX 440 Sound card: Creative Labs Soundblaster LIVE! 256 MB RAM <-- All drivers are most up to date as well. Any suggestions? Please? I really don't want to be out the 70 bucks (Canadian) I paid for it. I've also tried all suggestions such as "Close all programs," "Disable Anti-virus," and "Run in 16 bit colour." **EDIT** I've tried the No-CD crack as suggested in other posts, but to no avail.
