dark jedi

i know there isnt dark jedi yet. but, how will you be a dark jedi and will you get special abiliys

I would think in SWG you will need to become a jedi of the lightside and fall to the darkside.

 

I would imagine a dark jedi would get all the perks of the darkside; grip (choke), lightining, etc. I think you being light or dark would depend on your actions and deeds within the game and the more leaning to one side you become the more abilites you gain from that side of the force.

 

 

Although the expanded universe does speak of force sensitive candidates trained as special agents of the Emperor and Vader using the dark side (ex - Mara Jade, Lord Hethrir and Kam Solusar).

On dant there is a dark Jedi whom if you are a member of the empire you can do missions for, these missions are very dificult and involve killin dark jedis, strange animals etc, but as you do more the jedi who gives you missions says things like "let your anger flow" and "i feel the hate flowing through you" and when i completed all my missions he said "your path to the dark side is complete" i bet if you complete these missions while a jedi it opens up the Dark Jedi profession.

Actually, Duffalpha, if you are referring to the fellow in the ruins of the temple, his missions can be done by anyone. I completed the Light Jedi (who's behind the nearby waterfall) missions, which can only be done by a rebel, before completing the Dark Jedi missions. The last missions consist of attacking a special Voritor, a delivery missions, and defeating an untrained Padawan (man, was that ever a good fight)
