Problem with P4 detection

After I load the multiplayer of JKII, the load up screen runs and gets to the point "... detected proccessors Pentium IV" blah

and after that the screen disappears and doesnt load.. whats wrong with it?

I have dx9.0b and I have the latest drivers for my graphics card.
