Can anyone assist me

I just loaded the game

New comp

K7VM4 ASrock motherboard

VIA KM400 64 meg video card

512 RAM

2.4 ghz AMD Athlon XP

 

When I start single player, the movie begins then I get a jasp.exe error, a no signal on my monitor error or my system reboots

 

I have updated all the latest drivers for my motherboard and video card and uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice

 

Lucasarts doesn't seem to have any helpful advice

 

Anyone have these same problems?

Make sure your monitor is plugged in firmly in back (that no signal makes it sound like something is bad between your monitor connector and pc..).

 

Also scan your system for viruses if an up to date scanner. Some viruses will crash your system or force you to reboot and those have been making the rounds lately so you never know...

 

If the EXE is giving you problems, it could be the install is somehow corrupted. Try uninstalling then reinstalling. Make sure you are reinstalling the legal game from the legal cd's and you don't have any other versions (including the demo) installed on your system at all.

I checked and made sure my monitor was plugged in, it is, and this only happens with JA, so I think that is not the problem

I updated my virus scan and scanned, no viruses found

I assume my CD is legal, I bought it from Electronics Boutique

But the reinstall did nothing either

 

Do you know if there are any patches for problems such as this?

Would the game have problems if my video card is an onboard video card?
