Lord Glorfindel
This just ticks me off, and makes me want to hunt down these hackers. Last month Valve Software, makers of the upcoming Half Life 2, were hacked, badly. Gabe Newell, the managing director (head dude) @ Valve email was hijacked and several computers on Valves network had Keystroke applications on them, and while the hackers had control of the network they took the Source code, not the game but the actual CODE, and it is now on the net. This not only throughs five years of hard work, on the part of Valve and several other Third party devs who helped develop HL2, goes straight down the drain, this may stop the release of Half Life 2, due to the fact that some Punk hackers will make cheats for HL2, or even worse, Game Developers stealing Valves code and making into their games. You must understand that this game had what looked like THE most advanced graphics, ever seen in a game up to date, and even better AI then the AI in HL the original. This is truly sad, mostly because we may never see HL2, ever. Anyways here are links to Gabe Newells confirmation of the Leak, and another link stating how the code can effect Valve and the gaming community.
