Silent Bob
Don't know if it's been mentioned here but, if you go to Guru3D and go to there Nvidia drivers forum section you'll find the 52.16 driver. No more fog issues or greyed out textures in any Q3 engine games(so i've read). Still these are beta's so beware. Also heard the offical WHQL drivers might be out wednesday. bkh0501
Have you tried these drivers yourself? I noticed no increase in performance.
Silent Bob
Yes and I flew thru the game at 1280x1024, at 4SxAA, and 8xAF, with full detail, w/o the dynamic glow. With the 45.23 Det's I could only play at 1024x768 with the same settings. Mostly I just wanted to get out that they fixed the fog problem with the quake engine games;MOH:AA,JA,SOF2,and so on. But there is a big increase in other games such as GTA:Vice City(problem with smoke i.e. peeling wheels, paint job). Low frame rates in Unreal 2, been fixed. When I'd play BF1942 there would be graphic corruption and low framerates, not anymore. Now Lucasarts or Creative need to fix the sound issues in JA and it would run prefect. Anything else? Edit: I just read your other post and possibly upgrade your sound card drivers and in the controls option(in game) for the joystick turn off force feedback. Also try and find a Q3 engine Tweak Guide to increase proformance. Plus all systems are different you just have to find the best settings thru trial and error. bkh0501
New nVidia drivers don't do anything but lock my system up. I believe a memory leak is being produced in the coding.
