Luetchyboy Posted October 26, 2003 Share Posted October 26, 2003 Last night (u.k time that is) i was browsing http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com and i found Subscription fee i read it and i saw the sentence " Additionally, residents of EU countries will be charged VAT equal to 17.5% of the subscription fees listed above." So i used a online currency converter and converted all the prices to £ then i added VAT and here is the results: 1 Month- £10.40 3 Months- £29.12 6 Months- £54.09 12 Months- £99.87 Now thats what i get if i convert from $ to £ then work out 17.5% of the amount then add the two together. VAT was introduced earlier this year on foreign companies providing online services to UK residents. As the new servers will probably be located in the UK it should get around this problem.
