Guest jessica_ng
I got the metal key and I've opened a secret door just below the key hole. I've found a treasure there. And now I'm stuck. I crawlled into a hole where the X on the map showed but I couldn't do anything. I can't even grab hold of the edge up there. Is there anything that I can do? Besides there are some hints given by Indy. He said "I had the idol...in my hand" but I got nothing. He said " This might be important" when he's in front of a picture with a triangle shape in his mouth. Please advise.
Guest Vera
are you doing the PC version or the N64 one? I don't think my PC game says "I had the idol...". Anyway, if you are where I think you are, this is one of the hard parts of the game. You use the key and go down where it opens up...use your lighter so you can see after shooting several scorpions...climb onto a ledge and use your whip to climb up a couple times (there are a couple torches to light)...jump across to the other side...hang, drop and grab the ledge to go down one level so you can pick up the stick (bamboo spike)...drop down the rest of the way, go back and put the bamboo spike in the triangle shaped hole in the wall. Go out and around where you can now whip the bamboo spike to climb up.
Guest Jane Doe
"I had it in my hand..." and a few other comments are inreference to the opening scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark. The scene is set in this same temple as you can see by the giant ball and the darts coming from the walls, etc. That comment is about when he puts the replaced the idol with sand and then the floor drops and he runs out and his buddy screws him and makes him jump that pit (remember?). That guys bones are still on the spikes in the wall. Sprint through the beam of light and the spikes will come out and Indy picks on the guy. Hence "RETURN to Peru"
