Can you change attributes after game in progress?

Brand new to KOTOR. Built female soldier w/ Str 12, Dex 12, Con 12, Int 13, Wis 12, & Cha 16. Tried to make balanced, but think I may have erred here. Is it possible to beef up strength, constitution, etc., or is that only a startup possibility. Any help her would be hot.

you will get the option on occasion to change them during level ups, but you cannot take away from one and add to another, but you can add on to specific ones with points
