total n00b question: MP force powers

I've been experimenting with different force settings for MP, and I've run into a snag.

 

Allocating points to powers is easy, but how do you DE-allocate points from a specific power? If the power in question is a light or dark power, just switching over to the other side (and back again) solves the problem, but what about neutral and sabre powers?

 

There has to be a simple way to do this, but I seem to have missed it.
