Help with Palawan temple

I have gotten out of the volcano and into the area where there are a number of waterfalls, caves, thatched buildings and hanging bridges. I have been through several caves and come back to the place where I began, at a temple with a locked door. By using the map I have located a cave below the half destroyed hanging bridge. But can't figure out how to get into that cave. I assume the key to the temple is there, but I can't find a way into the cave to get the key. Also, just after swinging with my whip across a pool, I go into a cave and come to a place where there are two steep inclines that I can slide down. From the top of the incline to the right I can see a ledge with a treasure on it and behind that a spider's web. However, no matter how I try I cannot jump to that ledge, either from the top, by sliding down part way and then jumping or by jumping from a rock on the cave floor. Help with these two areas!

Regarding your sliding jump, try setting your game options to an easier level.

for the jump you could try jumping at the end of the slope to save yourself a difculty penalty
