Neoplitan Posted November 13, 2003 Share Posted November 13, 2003 I'm very Lucky, I guess, to have started play in the early stages of the game in regards to choosing a name for my character. I was able to get the name that I wanted withut too much hassle. But with new players joining, I am starting to recognize a truely horrifying problem: What will we do when All the good names are taken? Sure, every third Wookiee is either Chew-this or That-bacca or some other cheesey variation... But how damned unique do the names have to be anyway? How many guys named John do you know? Or Matt? Or Dave? Hell, lot's of them. I've known 3 guys Named Dave Thomas in my lifetime, and none where the creators of the Wendy's fast food chain. Maybe there is an overweight, balding fry-cook named Luke-warm-Sky Walker on Some distant outpost.... Maybe There is an over-the-top Queen named HAM So-low buying all the best dresses on Naboo... Come to think of it, why can't a male character dress in drag? OR if Mon Cals can wear Helmets, why Can't Wookiee wear PANTS??
