Lava Guardian

I have Taklit's Machine part but I am having a hard time getting back to the bridge. Is there some trick to getting past the Lava Guardian? I am on the island and trying to jump to the first step but he is there throwing things at me and I can't jump. Oh well maybe I am just giving up too soon. Any hints?

Use Taklit's part to become invisible. Do this immediately after you obtained the part until you have to jump back to the first block. For this jump you obviously can't stay invisible because you must grab the block's ledge.

 

But as soon as you're on that block go invisible again and quickly jump from block to block until you're on safe terrain again (in front of the bridge).

 

You might want to eat something healthy before doing this because he probably will hit you whenever you are visible. Also, if you're playing the pc version, the fastest way to become invisible is by hitting the W key followed by the Ctrl (action) key.

I had this same problem, ND is correct!! Toggling thru Menu is too slow for this

else you'll get zapped..

I used invisibility until I passed a Stone Monster & hid behind large rock on nearby island. Rested until Meter recharged.

LavaGaurdian can see you,but his little minions can't, so he won't send them if you are invisible or hiding behind something.

..Course its fun 'shooting them critters with Indys' .45 cal.

I use a combo of Joystick and keyboard.
