Guest drofnosirrah
sorry to bother you gentlemen again, but the problem persists... and perplexs me still. I have downloaded the save game for level 11 and used it in the game, but the same thing happened. It simply cut short and threw me back out... ...so I downloaded the save game for level 12, but unfortunately this did not work either and kicked me out of me knockers as well. however, the save game for level 13 did indeed work out...and worked beautifully too I must say. I have the pc version and all I want is to simply get on with my game. blast this infernal problem. perhaps someone may have a save game within the levels or any ideas? whatever you can give this poor confused man is much appreciated. any inputs old chaps? Guest Darth Timo
Are you sure you´re using the same Version as the author of these saved games?
nd
Darth Timo is right. If you use a savegame it must match your game's version. That means if the savegame is for update 1.2 but you don't have it installed the savegame probably won't work. I recommend you to install the update 1.2 from LucasArts. Get it at ftp://ftp.lucasarts.com/patches/pc/J3DUpdate1.2.exe - you'll get an EXE file which you simply double-click, it installs itself. Now you can download and use any savegame files which were created with the update 1.2, for example those on my ftp server at ftp://ftp.soulianis.com/archive/indy/start/ (if you have WinZip then download the .zip files, they are compressed versions of the .nds files). Hope this helps.
Guest drofnosirrah
the update was already installed and the save game was taken from your archive nd. I just don't see what the problem is. Figuring out the answers to these technical problems must be a fun game in itself huh nd? lol Guess I'll have to go on and play level 13, and then finish the game with the empty satisfaction of knowing I finished the game without playing two levels. that's alright. it'll still be fun. there's no need to be so specific. thanks for the help.
