Irishman
This is kind of off topic, For all you "Leet" modders, Im trying to play the streaming wav files from the Knights of the Old republic outside the game. They seem to be a digital streem, instead of a normal wav file. Can anyone tell me how? I do the starwars RPG, and would love to have the voices for the different races in a way that I could play them. THat way when the goup meets an alien NPC (wookie, rodian, etc) I could play the streaming wave, while I do a voiceover translation. Please contact me via email if you have any answers! Irishman
Hmmm... ok, some of the files are .wav files, but if you rename them to .mp3 then they play. They are coded mpeg-1 audio. However, the ambient sounds are *NOT*. These are called .wav files, but are encoded in Mpeg-2, layer 2 audio. BUT I cant get them to play for anything. Ive tried renaming them from everything from .ogg to .acc files, and nada. Here is a link to one of the files im stuck on. Can anyone get this to play outside the game? if so, what tool / codec did you use? Link:-> http://home.carolina.rr.com/irishman/al_nt_fountsml.wav Any help?
