zetto
Just finished the game on the light side - it rocks, with all eye candy and stuff. The view distance was a little off, and the distand objects look really screwy. Otherwise, one the best games i played this year (and I played a lot of top-rated games). Now, onto the bugs. Last level was a b*tch due to my jedis getting stuck all the time. I did not notice before but why do some characters stop executing the command queue even if they are not under any kind of influence? It was happening all over the place when I was attacked by the mix of dark jedis and red stormtroopers. I order one guy go attack someone but he just stands there, with lightsaber up but does absolutely nothing!!! with 5 attack commands queued in the buffer... once two guys froze like that (note that I am NOT talking about times when they are paralyzed by something - they can and do run around when I force them to move but they do not attack at all - just stare at the enemy). I was really pissed off at the game because of this bug. Also, I reloaded once in the middle of the fight and lightsabers where gone (ie it looked like they were fighting using them but the beams where not drawn on the screen - minor but also annoying). Another complaint - gathering the ship parts on the uknown planet. I found two pieces but, not knowing that you have to go the engine room to do something, I could not figure out what to do. Sure, when you enter you get a message that now you can fix the hyperspace engine but it's not all that straitforward. I missed the message and went straight to the bridge and tried activating the map but got a message that I still need a stabilizer of some sort (after I actually found it). Could it not just repeat the message I got at the entrance? So, like a fool, I was running around looking for the third piece assuming that was for stabilizer. For future reference: one piece is in the racnor cage inside the One's camp, the other is underneath the wreckage surrounded by plasma vents(mines?) on the road to the elder's camp. That's all you need (and ignore that stupid galactic map message). Third problem i encountered at the Sith planet (don't remember the name) when I went into the "crazy robot" cave. Since I did not want to kill it, I used a stealth guy to sneak in and start talking. But the robot had voice only the first time. After I reloaded (failing to fix it on the first attempt), and with all following reloads I did not hear any voice whatsoever, and the subtext was flashing real quick (ie. if there were more than two lines, I was getting only the last part of the message instead of the usual scroll). Did not happen elsewhere but it was annoying as hell. Well, that's all... I guess I have to try evil path now...
