Tatoo Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 As the topic say... don't do it if you have problems with SWG. I did it once and I am not doing it again when it comes to this game. I don't have any problems with SWG (except for the ingame bugs) but as soon as I overclock my CPU the game crash, shuts it self down, or sometimes even the computer it self restarts it self. Sorce Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 Are you sure? I've got my P42gHz overclocked to 2.2gHz, with no problems, apart from the odd meltdown (Note: My overheating problems ended when I replaced my fan in my case - the old one wasn't working )
Athryn Hellis Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 Overclocking the CPU does generate much more heat. If you do decide to do it, I would recommend putting in a heavy duty fan.
