Banbury
Hi, I don't know if this is common knowledge, but I found it nowhere else on the web. I found, when I typed xwingalliance.exe /deusdbg 1 skipintro I activated some sort of debug mode. XWA created a new pilot called 'FongFong' with a special rating, all missions, ranks, medals etc. It also created a file 'deusdbg.txt' with a single line of text. There's probably more hidden in this mode, but I couldn't find it yet. If someone is actually reading this, I could need some help with further testing this. chrisw10
Very interesting. Might want to try posting this on the editing corner of xwaupgrade.com. I only happened to skim through here tonight. Chris NJO Project - http://njoproject.skywalkeronline.net
Banbury
chrisw10: Thanks for the tip. I will do this. An update: The exact way to create the FongFong pilot is to create a pilot with the name FongFong. Then startup X-Wing Alliance. Exit the game and then delete the file FongFong0.plt. Restart XWA with the above command line without selecting a new pilot. The FongFong pilot will be recreated with the new stats.
