Soda Fett Posted December 18, 2003 Share Posted December 18, 2003 seems like the faction system has a few kinks that need to be worked out: My first day playing, I was scrolling through missions and viewing details. A boy wanted me to count stormtroopers for his school project. I did not undertake the mission, and yet I received a message on my screen telling me I gained townsperson faction and lost thug faction. At this point I had never even fought NPCs before, only creatures. Just yesterday I undertook a mission from Jabba the Hutt, via Bib Fortuna (mission terminal, I didn't go to his palace) to exterminate some former associates (Jabba swoopers) so that he could gain a foothold in Anchorhead. upon killing his "former" associates, I checked my character sheet to discover that I had lost Jabba, Hutt, Townsperson and Thug faction.
