'Bogus Marker Length' in Jedi Academy

hello everyone, I bought jedi academy a few days ago and its fun. But in SP at some levels when its alomst done loading the level, the game quits itself and the console window comes up and say 'bogus marker length'. This also happens when I join a MP server. When im almost done joining it quits and show the message; or if i press tab to see how many kills i got, the error happens again. I have reinstalled several times but its still not working
