Infinite Empire and the Sith

Here is something wierd i thought about while playing. Korriban was the homeworld of the now extinct Sith race. Now if the Rakata were on Korriban, and built the star map there, how come they never encountered the Sith race that was living there. The droid at the temple of dantooine says he never heard of the sith, and that all of these star maps were built on slave worlds. So technically, the Sith race (not the sith order mind you) must have been a slave species.

thats what i meant to put in but something happened

I found some sites from a quick search on Google (including these two: http://www.darklordsofsith.com/sith/whoarethesith.htm and http://pub79.ezboard.com/fforcedbirthsithonkohlomfrm11.showMessage?topicID=4.topic)...

I havn't read through them thoroughly, but as far as I can tell, they've been there for more than 20.000 years...

Maybe they didn't get "intimate" enough with them to learn their names, and just called them Slavers (or whatever they call them)...

Another theory is that the Sith race simply hid from them somewhere...
