Guest Torpedo
I just completed the Death Star Trench Run for a Gold Medal. It ain't the easiest thing to do. First of all, I made it in the exact amount of time allotted for a Gold Medal. As for how I did it, I'm going to explain. I had to use the IGIVEUP code so I could make it through the trench. Set the torpedoes so they'll lock on the first thing. Don't be afraid to use them if they lock. During the first leg of the trench, destroy every turret. If the torp locks a TIE, let loose..... you can use the kill. After rounding the first corner, take out the FIRST two turret towers and then lock the S-foils in flight mode. This will take you down this leg of the trench as fast as possible. After rounding the next corner, unlock the S-foils when you spot the first tower, but don't spare the regular thrust. You need to run at full speed at all times, taking down all turrets that you can, but don't worry if you miss one. When you reach the exhaust port, lock onto it ASAP and let loose a torpedo. That should get you there in enough time. Just figured I'd pass it along while it was still fresh in my head. Guest Trooper_Max
<FONT COLOR="FF0000">or just use gameshark for infinite lives, 99 kills, 99 saves, etc. and go through it with S-Foils closed!<FONT COLOR="000000"> ------------------ ¤Trooper_Max¤
Guest Tyco Celchu
<FONT color=red> I doubt you could do that. It's almost <FONT size=50>impossible!</FONT> ------------------ Tyco Celchu

Guest Jedi Knight Ben
I beg to differ. The Death Star Trench Run is very much possible. If you have the advanced lasers it is easier, so i recommend getting them. First, set your lasers to quad fire so as one clear shot will take out a small turret and 2 direct hits will take out a big one. Next, close S-Foils and go fast until near some turret, hit the brakes to slow and open s-foils, and fire the needed shots. feel free to use torpedoes to keep speed up, but always save one, you never know how far you will get. The first time i finished it for gold it was in 2:43, but i've gotten down to 2:33 with the required kills. So don't say it's impossible.

Guest Demon_Nightmare
Did you send it enough times Ben. I mean, twice is ok, but 4 times is a little odd. Chill on the mouse. †‡Demon_Nightmare‡†
Guest Tyco Celchu
Jed Ben, I agree that they say the death star tranch is not as hard as they say. I beat it with a gold a week ago! I didn't use cheats either. It just takes some skill and a strategy! If you wanna read a good strategy, look at the strategies section, and read the one titled <FONT color=blue>How to get a <FONT color=gold>gold<FONT color=blue>on the death star trench run. ------------------ Tyco Celchu
