Guest PBGenius
What do you need to accomplish to be able to access the V-Wing? My friend says he has it after beating the first chapter but I know that's not right because I'm on Imperial Construction Yards. Is the only getting to one of the last few levels in which you are supposed to use the V-Wing?
Guest Demon_Nightmare
What I know of, you can only get it in the last level, but after you beat the last, you can use it in many levels. Demon_Nightmare
Guest Tyco Celchu
-Thats right. Each time you pass a chapter in rogue, you get to fly a new ship for the missions that you've already passed. First chapter is A-Wing, second is Y-Wing, third is speeder or something, and fourth is V-Wing - I think. ------------------ Tyco Celchu [This message has been edited by Tyco Celchu (edited January 07, 1999).]
Guest Darwin
Actually... I got the V-Wing before finishing the last level. In fact, I got it after the second or third chapter. I believe it has something to do with how many medals you have at the end of the chapter. You see, before I finished the second chapter, I went back and got silver medals on all of the levels, and even got a few golds as well. And I was rewarded with the V-Wing. The only three ships you get from chapters are the A-Wing, V-Wing, and X-Wing. You don't get the Y-Wing or Speeder. Yes, I did get the A-Wing after beating the first chapter. However, the ship I got after beating the fourth chapter was the X-Wing. This makes sense, however, because one of the harder levels to get a gold medal on, the Battle Above Taloraan, starts you off with the A-Wing. And beating the level with a gold medal is much simpler with the X-Wing. As I said, it probably has something to do with the amount of medals you have, as I think the V-Wing is a much better ship than the X-Wing. I guess it's a mystery we just won't be able to solve... ------------------ Darwin/Nile buffalochip666@hotmail.com
Guest Atraiyu
If you look at the Ship Selection screen that comes up after you choose your mission but before you actually choose your ship you'll most likely see one ship in green and some others in red. You get to choose the ones in red when you get a certain medal in that level. In Mos Eisley, when you get a bronze you get to choose A-Wing. When you get silver, you can choose the V-Wing. That's basicly how it works on the other levels, too (save, of course, for the ones when you can only choose one ship, like Fest and Defection, where you HAVE to have the tow cable, so you can only choose the regular speeder). ------------------ /~A friend in need's a friend in deed, a friend who'll tease is better/~ -Atraiyu-
Guest PBGenius
Atraiyu, at least part of what you said is wrong. I have a gold on Mos Eisley and can't get the V-Wing. Also I have a gold on Barkhesh and Nonnah, and a silver on Defection, Gerrard V, and Jade Moon. Yet I have no V-Wing access.
Guest ShadowWolf
I have 13 gold medals and however many silvers are left. It's called a Advanced Allied Commander. When you become a general or higher you should recieve the V-wing. But you do have to beat all the levels in the first two chapters with a silver or above... ------------------ It's not how crazy you are but what kind of cerial you eat out of their skulls...
