<FONT color=blue> <bgcolor=red> avoid damage by shooting missle turrets first, turbolasers second and TIE Interceptors third (evade TIEs. Interceptors do the most damage to your shields)

<FONT color=black> <marquee>or just put in the code IGIVEUP for infinate lives. Take a look at the codes section at http://www.roguesquadron.net/gamecodes.html </marquee>

This one is one of the hardest missions in the game. Try not to get any medals with it in your x-wing, you can if you want, but you don't have too. You have to make sure to get through the first part without losing many lifes. When you play the boss, you may lose lots of lifes. First, destroy the missile turrent in front of you, then turn right and take out another turrent, then the AT-ST and then the Turbolaser. Then take out the containers, once done, follow your radar to next objective. To get the bonus, which is a must for the v-wing, look for a bacta tank that is in a valley, alone with a Imperial container, destroy it to get the bonus, cluster seeker missiles. Take out bombers whenever you see them, and Tie interceptors will get annoying. Once you beat this mission, to get a gold in it, Use a v-wing with cluster seeker missiles, and if you're still having trouble use, IGIVEUP, and then just blast away the fighters with the seekers. It's easy with a v-wing, first time I did it with a v-wing I got a silver, then a gold.

I got a passcode for you. Type in IGIVEUP.It gives you invinite lives and the medals you get with the code on. This helps alot.

I recommend the X-Wing here, although the V-Wing is appealing because of its rapid fire , speed and cluster seekers. With the V-Wing, you'll have a hellova time taking out Moff Seerdon. You can't roll, spin, and your cluster seekers just spin around Seerdon's shuttle most of the time. With the X-Wing's seekers, you'll get a sure hit if you lock. Complete the level with the V-Wing if you feel like it, but for the Gold, X-Wing is the way.

Hope this helps.

Obviously there are conflicting opinions about the V-Wing. I personally had a lot of trouble getting used to it for Mon Calamari because of its speed. But does anyone know whether its shields are better or worse than the X-Wing's? Seerdon's Revenge is the only level in which I still have no medal, and I really want to get to those bonus levels.

I believe Shields are weaker. For example, on the 2nd mission (Barkhesh) I used the X-Wing most of the time. When I used the V-Wing, without taking more damage than I usually do, my fighter was more damaged than the X-Wing usually is at that point. Try it out; start a level with the X-wing, locate a laser turret and let it shoot you. Count the blasts you could take. Start over with the V-Wing, and compare.

OK, I tried for a couple of hours just to get the bronze on this level so I could get the Beggar's Canyon bonus level. First, I used the X-Wing. The problem with that is, although I can beat Seerdon once I get to to him, I rarely get that far because the X-Wing is slow and I get slaughtered by Interceptors. Then I decided to use the A-Wing, and after much playing, I came to the point that I could get to Seerdon with green health in my second life. The problem with the A-Wing is that, for some reason, the missiles won't hit Seerdon's shuttle. They just circle him for a while, and sometimes that end up hitting him. However, by the time even a few missiles hit him, I have lost a life and have already lost R2 in my last life. I can't seem to do much with blasters. Recalling to when I first beat the level, I was in the X-Wing, didn't medal, and died just as my last proton torpedo hit and destroyed Seerdon's shuttle. I'm at my wit's end, and any help anyone can offer would be much appreciated.

When you get to the shuttle fly away from it until it is at the edge of your radar. Turn around, get a lock, and fire a missle. Repeat as many times as necessary. This works for me. I hope it does for you. smile.gif
