help I can't walk or move or anything!

I'm in a level called Endar Spire (I think). I'm so confused. I can't get my character to walk or move! I try the awsd keys, arrow keys, mouse, etc.

 

The only thing he will do is run to a door when I click on the lock. He says "I can't open it". There are 4 doors (I think) in this room and all I can do is click on locks, he runs to the locks and says "I can't open it".

 

How can I get my character to move? He won't walk. I've tried every alphabetic key on the keyboard and NONE of them allow me to walk..

 

Please Help!

um, first, check your controls before you start a game. Go to Options > Gameplay > Key Mapping from the main menu. If you still can't get it to work, post again. One more thing, are you sure you don't have numberlock or something like that on on your keyboard?

The keymappings are correct and the numlock key is off.

 

Is there a "mode" in the game where you can't walk or move?

 

If there is - how do you turn it off?

Pay attention to the red shirt, you need to have security skill to open locked doors.

 

Switch to (default TAB key)him, select a door and press the little red lock icon and he will unlock the door.
