Have I made a mistake??

i've recently become a padawan and chose to be a jedi consular on the advice of Yoda et al. I started off as a soldier though, is this a bad choice of class and if so can i change it or will i have to restart?? What benefits are there to this combination and how can I make the most of it?

I'm near the end of my 3rd playtrough right now as a 5 soldier / 15 consular and it ROXX!! Early in the game you can build strength and get some nice feats, after that you earn lots of forcepowers and forcepoints...

 

So... I'd say there's nothing wrong with your choice!

Hehe and the fun thing is that you can play this game many different ways too! Like I said; I'm on my 3rd playtrough now and still enjoying it You can hardly make the 'wrond' choice

I went through the first time as soldier 8 / consular 12.

 

About 3/4 of the way through the game any enemy will cease to be a threat, I basically laughed when I opened up a door only to find a room of baddies because I knew they would all be dead in under a minute.

 

Soldiers get to use awsome armour, and so what if it limits DEX, just put all bonus points towards strength you will take like 2 points of damage in most minion fights and something like 50 when fighting really bad guys but force heal works a treat.

 

So dont think you have to start again, you on the verge of something amazing. :r5d4:

Every combination is good.

 

The only downside to being soldier/consular is a little less offensive force power damage(charisma and wisdom) and of course a little less force points(less wisdom). Of course if you specialize yourself in defensive Force powers this shouldn't be a problem at all.
