ok,so how do you disable the !@#$%^ train without blowing the damn thing up?

Use your secondary weapon, the ion cannoon. When you are flying at the train, fly low. If you fly beneath the level of the train the laser turrets cannot fire at you. Disable the two cars with guns first then, voila, train is disabled.

thank you sir...worked like a charm...couldn't see the bloody ion "bullets" so I wasn't sure if I was firing anything or not...
