How to change your party to a Jedi?

Is there a coherent version of how to do this out yet? I really want to change my team around without having to start a whole new game. Or, is there a way to jump ahead in the game? Like being on the Spire and then jumping to the Dantooine act?

First off you'll need Bioware's GFF Editor and ERF Editor (or you can use NWN Hak editor instead)

 

Do this when the to-be-jedi party member has enough exp. to level up:

 

- Open SAVEGAME.SAV with the ERF or Hak editor.

- Find the party member's character file in the sav (AVAILNPC#.utc, 0=Bastila 1=Canderous 2=Carth 3=HK-47 4=Jolee 5=Juhani 6=Mission 7=T3M4 8=Zaalbar) and export it.

- Open the exported charfile with the GFF Editor.

- Find "ClassList" (LIST) and expand it.

- There should already be an entry, 0 (User-Defined Struct: 2) under ClassList. Add a User-Defined Struct: 0 into "Classlist", which will automatically be named "1".

- Change the Type of "1" from 0x00000000 to 0x00000002.

- Add an INT and a SHORT into "1".

- Change the Field ID of the INT to Class and the Field ID of the SHORT to ClassLevel.

- Change the value of Class to either 3, 4, or 5 (Guardian, Consular, Sentinel).

- Leave ClassLevel at 0.

- Save and remove the old AVAILNPC#.utc from SAVEGAME.SAV and add the new one in.

- Save savegame.sav as savegame.sav.erf.

- Delete or rename the old savegame.sav.

- Rename savegame.sav.erf to savegame.sav.

- Load the save and level up that party member as normal. They will have multiclassed to jedi. Doing this will give them the feat "Force Affinity" which gives them 40 extra FP.

An easier way is to use the save game editor. Back up your game(I usually just edit the quicksave with my main save as the backup). Then edit away, you can make your charas gods with this though so I preferre to swap out feats or to wipe out all the feats except for the starting feats, then I change the level back to one and level up in game.
