I'll try it (be sure I try any possible and most likely any impossible way to check it out), but will need some days. Anyway: did you ever get a "bug" like "suddenly crashing" always when firing first shot (or missile)? Or did you ever remark some fightergroups not attacking imediately what they should do? (Have a mission with 4 regions and a totally of 69 FGs (never more than 90 crafts in one region); I did nearly all work, then saw this behavior in one region: different FGs with different crafts with different arrivals in different forms or numbers (and different global/unit-numbers) - always flying around (with or without start/first waypoint), even with different attack-like commands, until the player jumps into the map (where you can see the fighters locking you as their target suddenly). When I erased last 9 FGs (without exact reason) and changed some station-commands (again "without plan"), the fighters came alive! The nearby stations attacked me before and after changes. I first had to struggle with sitting in a sky (yeah, because I have some unused slots filled, too, one with a mod called "sky"...). Changed B-Wings to B-Wings and Bombers to X-Wings, some unknowns to Calamari Cruisers... By now, I can play it and found some problems in the briefing and about the Containerships orders (just short notes done, I'll try to remember my school time for writing this in some kind of readable oxford style) ($-( Next 2-3 days I will report here (because direct email isn't possible). (Tested with Standard Shiplist = unknowns to B-W, X-W and CRS or CRL, Aquiel to CRS (Wolfpack CRL), because hangar looks ugly with CRL) - Rebel-CTRNS linked new to targets (FRT/CTRNS), one boarding 3 times (the FRTs). Boarding time rised/lowered (not too different). - Blue orders: after the starfighters, they often flew home (before CTRNS Rebell had a chance to arrive in region 2), so... Order 3 = 4 / 2 = 3 / new order 2 = attack capital ships (GG8) Order 4 not really needed, because they will depart anyway at the end (now in reg 1) Alternative: 4 = "Fly home", early "Brommstaad-Attack"-command is the players "duty" (not automaticly ordered). - Third Bulk Freighter = always, instead hard only (let the player work with it in lower levels); if not, you must add a different FG-CTRNS for boarding three times in hard level. - Bonus available ("All player" of "FRT..." didn't work); seem as if you intended an "inspected by player only bonus", which is not possible (???). - Briefing: Convoy wasn't shown correctly (manually stepping into page 2 was ok!); deleted double/not used instructions, altered time between some events, zoom (must be the "bug") after "new region" (2), slightly more space between icons (instructions #77-#91 installing as a kind of deleting - nice; instructions #92-#97 of no use?). - Sun shined on the dark side of the planets! New positions for backdrops (difficult as these tend to "jump wild" if positioned just a few clicks different). All backdrops brighter. More Changes: - CRL Aquiel: no "Options" (reason for?) - Chaffs in options = double in hangar selection - Not needed A.I.= rookie (resources?) - Stations/buoys A.I. = officer (stay on "save ground") Suggestions: - The convoy is near his hyperpoint, but uses "the long way" until its end. That smell's a bit unrealistic (I personally would run away). Perhaps give a chance for them to hyper out (pressure for the player!), together with some changes in "hard" level. - Tractor beam doesn't make the fighters strong, but slow! ( I never was caught in a tractor beam while playing against any ship with it implemented!?!) - Easy is very easy, but hard means jedi-A.I. and more Brommstaad fighters, this results in a sudden rise in difficulty; maybe it's better to give more A.I. to the imperials, or to give different arrivals for the extra fighters (20-40 seconds at least)? ... combined with: - Pinoks and Skiprays should get a secondary target: B-W Blue (!) or a jump to: attack B-W Blue (if) attacked - else it is not very difficult to intercept these groups... Normally (what means: normal?) one should think, best solution for winning this mission is to destroy the ties fast and deactivate the freighters even faster (FRTs first), to avoid a stop in range of the capital ships, then to "spare" the wingmen for the Brommstaad-Attack, concentrating on the last groups (danger for the B-Wings)... But, as it is now, you need not to hurry up! All imperial ships stop at the end, and - due to the fact group red isn't able to deactivate all freighters early (saw 3 B-Wings struggle 15 minutes with the last CTRNS: its shields were still intact, with one B-Wing destroyed and the rest "burning"), you better deactivate some ties until no more fighters arrive, and let group blue wait outside any range and destroy the capital ships all alone, choosing the moment, you "help" to deactivate the last CTRNS, activating the row of events... It's still a mission, and you can play it and loose or win - but all I want to say is: you surely didn't plan/prefer this way of winning the game(??).
