Guest Trooper_Max
Can anyone help? I can't seem to beat this level. What should I do to beat this level? Please give step-by-step like first should I clear out the turrets and Ties? or should I go straight to the generator? Please help! ------------------ ¤Trooper_Max¤
Guest Phoenix
Prisons of kessel eh? don't worry took me a while too... what i did was i sorta took off right from the beginning. When i reached the first prison i first took out the turbolasers around it and then i took out the little rectangular buildings where all the little stormtroopers come out from. By then it tells me that there's a shield generator somewhere. What i do now is i sorta follow the wedge in the radar but not really; i stay low to the ground and go around the hills. that way i take a few turrets and those buildings out along the way. don't worry about the shuttle, while it's waiting at the first spot, nothing should be hitting it, the tie fighters only magically appear after taking out the shield generator. After you reach the area near the shield generator, again, take out the turrets (watch out for that missile turret near the ass end of the generator) garrisons and the at-st walker. Then proceed to knock the generator to oblivion and then book your ass to where the shuttle is 'cause now you gotta handle some tie fighters. From then on you just follow and protect the shuttle... i know it sounds sorta complicated but once you get an idea of the general area it's pretty easy, hope this helps... Guest Phoenix
well, so far i've been playing the game without using any codes yet so i can't really tell ya how the falcon or interceptor will perform but ii can tell ya that the x-wing works for me. if you have the advanced proton torpedo's you shouldn't have much problems with the tie's although it takes a while to lock sometimes but they usually fly straight lines while attacking the shuttle. THey also dive to attack them and if you fly over them they eventually pull up and they should be relatively close in your siights...

Guest jodo
i know what i was doin wrong: DONT destroy the rectangular shaped structures (like the ones in moff seerdons revenge) cuz thats where the stormtroopers come out...eventually. i was in the habit of destroying them first thing. Guest Darwin
I know this is probably pretty late, but oh well, here goes... If you're just trying to beat the level the X-Wing is your best bet. If you're going for gold, definitely use the V-Wing. Anyway, here's the strategy for both. Follow the ship to the first base, and when it says there's a shield generator around that you need to destroy, don't go after the generator. Use this time to destroy everything red. Turrets, buildings, even stray TIEs (There are actually some around, just not many.) everything. Then, and only then, should you go after the generator. After that, your only concern should be the incoming TIEs that try and destroy the landing ship. Just keep those TIEs off of your ship with Lasers and Protons/Clusters, and you should be fine. No offense, but it's not that hard of a level, actually. I beat it on the first try. Well, anyway, good luck to you. ------------------ Darwin/Nile buffalochip666@hotmail.com

Guest JWJ
Okay, this one took me a while too. One thing to remember-don't relax when Madine tells you he's clear, you must eliminate all TIEs and AT-STs at the current prison for the shuttle and the commandos to be safe. Oh yes, by beating this level you can use the V-wing on many earlier levels and there are also the seeker missiles (for the A-wing-and those can be VERY helpful at the end of Search for the Nonnah). I prefer X-wing on this level. Anyway, at the beginning, take out a couple of probe droids, then follow the assault shuttle. Now destroy all defenses around the first prison. Then, rather than going to the generator immediately, fly around to all the prisons and eliminate any defenses(and take out some/all of the TIEs while you're at it). Then blow up the generator but don't use torpedoes. You'll need all you can get for the AT-STs. The same applies for the missile turrets. Now lock S-foils and follow the cone, then unlock them (duh!). Chase the TIEs down first (the AT-STs are more dangerous, but the TIEs are a more immediate threat) and then blow up the AT-STs (one torpedo at close range should do the trick). Now follow the shuttle to the next facility and once again TIEs come first, then AT-STs. Once the shuttle and commandos are safe, look for a grayish are on your radar with two isolated red dots. This is a little valley that contains a missile turret and a barracks. Destroy the turret without using torpedoes, then shoot a couple of quad bursts at the barracks and take the upgrade in there. You do basically the same thing at the last two facilities; they just have more enemies.

Guest Imladil
I am the Kessel master. Obey my will, and you will pass the level. Fail to do so...and die screaming in fire. The choice is yours. First, follow the shuttle to the first prison. Take out the laser turrets; they are the primary threat in this level. Do not blow up the barracks; guys come running out later, and you can zap them for extra kills. Then, take out the TIE fighters attacking this prison. Then move on to the next prison, leaving the shuttle sitting there. Go to each of the prisons and quickly take out the laser turrets. Engage patrolling TIEs if you happen upon them, but don't waste time chasing them down; you'll have time to get them later. On your way around, keep an eye open for the 'lone mountaintop missile turret.' If you miss this one turret, it will missile your shuttle later. After you've cleared all the laser (and missile) turrets, go to the generator. Bust the chicken-walker on patrol there in the head, then take out the generator. As soon as you've shot up the generator, rocket like mad for the shuttle...because as soon as you do so, another wave of TIEs make their run. At this point, you begin following the shuttle around. You've cleared the dangerous targets and left yourself the softer ones so you won't get bored while the shuttle is doing its thing. My choice of starfighter? A-wing. It's fast enough to get around in the time required, and its small size helps it get around the crowded prison yards without crashing. Also, the guns are closer to centerline...which come in handy when zapping up 'ground dudes.' ------------------ "I sought the true nature of reality but discovered instead the real nature of truth." --Thrustweasel of Earth
