dj_owen
so, i've got my mod all finished to recruit some custom-built npc's, but now i can't get the compiler to work. i think the problem might be that i don't have NWN. is that required to run the compiler? if not, i must just not know how to use it, i got it open in dos, but it gives me random error messages every time i type in the file i want to convert. if it wouldn't be too much trouble, could someone simply compile my file for me? it's just a 1kb text file into .ncs file. otherwise, any help on how to use the compiler would be great. thanks. deathdisco
This is assuming you're using nwnnsscomp.exe program. Make sure the file ends in the .nss extension. At the command prompt type: nwnnsscomp yourscript.nss yourscript.ncs Now if I only knew how to script:P
gameunlimited
what kind of error message do you get? Mind you that scripts are very sensitive, a mistake even as small as one character can stop the compilation process and you won't get any result. If trying to correct them does not work, you can send the file to me, and I will compile it for you.
dj_owen
alvin, it's highly likely that there is an error in the script (although now i can't even get nwn compiler to start up, weird), so i'm sending it to you at the email address you used yesterday. thanks for the help.
