However, i need to do this quickly, so any help you can give would be...well...helpful. 8^) I am setting up a LAN server, but I want my friend on the outside of the firewall to be able to join. I need to open a port, but i can't find which port to open. I know its a UDP port, but what number? Or does it even matter? Could I choose any number? This is both for Outcast and Academy. Kurgan Posted March 7, 2004 Share Posted March 7, 2004 Normally the port range that is used by JK2 is 28060-28099 UDP. The default port is 28070, but that can change and many servers use numbers in that range. Jedi Academy uses the range 29060-29099 UDP. The default port normally used is 29070 here.
