Guest runner4031 Posted January 14, 2001 Posted January 14, 2001 The guidebook in the 'Search for the Nonnah notes that shuttles are difficult to destroy. I've tried firing and shooting missles at the imperial shuttle from all angles to no effect. Am I wasting my time or is there a way to destroy the shuttle?
Guest Rogue15 Posted January 16, 2001 Posted January 16, 2001 you're wasting your time. That imperial landing craft devotes 2/3 of its power to its' shields, not even a y-wing can penetrate it's shields.
Guest Gold Squadron Leader Posted January 16, 2001 Posted January 16, 2001 Sorry, I'm afraid Rogue15 is correct. I have tried many time to kill the Imperial Landing Craft on this level, no luck. Even if you could fly a Y-Wing with advanced bombs it will not fall. I think this is hard-coded and cannot be overcome. Now at least two other missions allow you to blow up this type of Imperial ship. One is Assault on Kile II, just drop a bomb from your Y-Wing on top on him as he leaves the spaceport, BOOM! The other I think is the Imperial Constuction Yards. Come on Rogues, someone help me out here. ------------------ Ties are flies, swat'em!
Guest Dragondancer Posted January 16, 2001 Posted January 16, 2001 Yes, the Imperial Construction Yards has a shuttle that's taking off as you enter the area. All you need to do is fire a few shots at it and it goes BOOM!!! D

Guest rebel alliance Posted January 19, 2001 Posted January 19, 2001 I think factor 5 made it invicable. you should be able to blow it up with a y wings 60 advaced bombs (20 for each ship) but it still won't blow up.

Guest Rogue15 Posted January 21, 2001 Posted January 21, 2001 The only ship that's invincible in the whole game is that imperial landing craft on Search for the Nonaah, well, there's also those rebel escorts on hoth, the falcon (when han solo controls it), and i'm pretty sure that's all the ships that are invincible.
