Lord JayVizIon Posted October 1, 2001 Posted October 1, 2001 When a scout, worker, or regular military units get attacked by wild beasts, etc, the warning indicator was not that great. in some games, you either get a buzzing sound or huge red letters come across the screen telling you about being attacked. hopefully they improve on this b/c i was playing kvan and both of us ran into that problem. any thought?
Guest Admiral Odin Posted October 1, 2001 Posted October 1, 2001 A voice would be nice. and harder to miss.
Dagobahn Eagle Posted October 1, 2001 Posted October 1, 2001 It's always been that way in AoK, so they aren't going to change it (they changed it from "GAIA" to "wild beasts", tough, which is good ). I'm missing an "Enemy sighted" warning. Like a sound going off whenever an enemy unit or building comes within your LOS. Could have several uses, like warn you about attacks and tell you when your troops reaches the enemy base. I liked the AoK battle horn better than the GB "Dut, dut, dut" alert, tough, altough that base alarm is cool (the "garrison all units inside the base" alarm, if you know what I mean;))! EndSub Posted October 2, 2001 Posted October 2, 2001 yeah i noticed that too......I often send my scout out to locate the enemy base and by the time i realise its being attacked, its already dead.......
Lord JayVizIon Posted October 2, 2001 Author Posted October 2, 2001 i know that works for aok, but i hope their warning is a bit more noticeable and obvious. this is one of the few minor bugs that needs work other than the at-st walking and laser shooting.
EndSub Posted October 2, 2001 Posted October 2, 2001 have you noticed that the AT-PT's legs move WAY to slow....it looks like its draging its feet
Dagobahn Eagle Posted October 3, 2001 Posted October 3, 2001 Just one catch about it in GB: Units move faster than in AoK. You would often react to late to, for example save a Z-95 group from an Anti-air base if you didn't watch over them.
