amdi8
I want to play MI1 again and I have the Monkey Island Madness CD. The version of MI1 is the VGA with CD music, but the music doesn't play for me (running it under Linux). Is it possible to play that version with the Adlib music by tweaking some file, or do I need to get the floppy version? I would actually prefer the Adlib music. More nostalgic ;-) Thanks. KeepGood
Run it through ScummVM. (http://www.scummvm.org) Rip the audio tracks from the CD and compress them into MP3 format. Read the ReadMe file for ScummVM, it will tell you how to do it, and where to place the audio tracks. Then your CD audio will run fine. Dont bother with the floppy version. The CD audio is too good not to have playing ;-) Hope that helps.
