Mod Requests. Specific. Perfect.

First off, Its a great game, and throughout my gaming lifetime, I have ALWAYS found that replayability is almost exclusively dependent on multiple non-linear paths. Now ofcourse I am not requesting a whole new story, as that would take a phenominal degree of work. Below is a list with brief descripts detailing my mod interests.

Character Portraits

- More males, I see there are some 'altered' portraits. I really like the sith ones.

- More Females, I like the one female head. The ponytail female, however, I am not keen on the 'shaved' scalp. Could someone modify her scalp to look like tight pulled hair?

...

Also, I find the females to be ... too ... 6 foot 10 inches ... ish.

Too tall. Could someone alter her hieght and size?

Jedi Robes

- Symbols on the backs of some of the robes would look quite nice.

- Sexier female robes.

- Smaller rear on the females.

Dynamic Combat Postures

- The combat movement is well done, making the realism of gunfights and melees amazing. However, I find them far too linear. Stand and fire, dodge, stand and fire, stand and fire, dodge.

...

How about Stand and fire, dodge, fire while dodging!!!

Structure Saber Damage

I am assuming making saber lines and trails in the environment might be too complex to acheive. Still, any request is still worth asking I suppose.

All of the above is doable by simple reskins, though I'm not sure how good a look you'd be able to get trying to fix the shaved scalp to look like hair. What you'd end up with would be hair that has absolutely no depth, and is just painted on her head, which will probably not look very good.

Nope. This would require editing models or making new ones. We haven't figured out the format used for the models yet, so it's currently impossible. Best you can do is use the Scoundrel, which is a little smaller than the others.

Again. Simple reskin. All you'd need to do would be to draw in a symbol of your choice on a TGA version of the skin(s) you want to change and put them in the override folder.

No can do here either, as this would require model editing.

We can't possibly make new animations until we understand how the old ones work. To do that, we have to first understand the model format. So unfortunately, new animations are also currently impossible.

Being totally honest, I've no idea on this one. I DOUBT it can be done with what we have available. You'd have to use some form of particle effect, but I don't believe there's anything we have to choose from that would get the effect you're looking for. If someone else has better insight on this, feel free.

Won't work for KotOR. Nothing NWN will. Even though the games use similar engines and a lot of nearly identical data files, there's too much that's been changed (like the models themselves) for mods to be cross-compatable. Sorry.

As for anything above I said could be done with the reskins, I don't have the time right now to do them myself, but with Kotor_tool and an image editor, it's pretty easy to do. There's lots of people doing skins, so I'm sure you could either do it yourself or probably ask some of them for some assistance. :)
