help needed with global variables [possible spoilers]

My greetings, people of these realms.

 

If I may, I would like to bother you folks with a little problem of mine - global variables.

 

Here goes:

 

I just recently re-installed KotOR (along with some of the fine mods around here) and started my 11th run-through.

 

My problem now is that I for some reason cannot do Juhanis and Canderous side-quests because the dialoge never progresses past the first time you talk to them. I presume I broke some chain of events, but that's only a guess. And since in older Bioware games, things like romances, team-talk ect. could be re-set or altered via changing global variables, I wonder if this it true for KotOR as well?

 

If so, I would love some advice on what I need to change to re-initiate these COE's.

 

If further information is required, please say so and I will do my best to provide it.

 

Oh, one other thing. All my previous times I played through this game, I used an unpatched version (1.00), this is the first time I play a patched one (1.03).
