I've finished the Sith Academy - how do I make them still like me? [Possible Spoiler]

I've just completed the final Sith test on Korriban - I've killed Uthar Wynn and let Yuthura Ban go. When I try to go back into the academy, I can't seem to avoid fighting the three Sith students at the back entrance of the Academy. I've tried numerous times to talk my way out, but I think my Persuade rating (4) is too low, or it's just not possible. Once they're dead, everyone in the Academy goes ape and I have to fight my way out, sealing the doors behind me. Problem is, I haven't finished the Dustil Onasi side-quest yet.

 

Is there any way around this? I know I probably did it in the wrong order, but I'm trying to be quite thorough and don't want to miss anything.

Never mind, I reloaded a savegame and did it over again.
