Droids can't be Jedis ...

no see i tried a few things to do that too but i found that because the droids are well...droids that they weren't give the animations to use things like swords and sabers the only way i can think of is to use the KSE and change them from droids to humans

 

i could be wrong and that may not work idk i don't have but t3m4 at the moment so i can't test this out to see if it would work

I've changed their utc files, and they appear as jedis but they cannot carry lightsabers , noy even with weapon profiency : lightsaber. This is disapointing, I mean T3 became lashowe (voice and everything) and now she only fires weapons . :(

I thought you were simply changing the Tag of Lashow/Mekel's utc file to "T3M4" as Gameunlimited described in this thread. That way they of course would be Jedis.

No, the other way around. If you change Lashowe or Mekel's tag to T3M4, then when you recruit them, the game will continue to think that you have T3M4 since most scripts check for objects by their tag.

 

Outside the academy they can be found:

RIMs->Modules->korr_m33aa_s.rim->kor33_lashowe.utc

 

RIMS->Modules->korr_m33ab_s.rim->kor33_mekell.utc

 

and both are also inside the academy under:

 

RIMs->Modules->korr_m35aa_s.rim

Yes. The script can modeled after either one of those mods. Triggering the script is where your creativity will come in.

 

Of course you could always fall back and do it the way you were doing it before.

I see that you're from Lisbon so you probably have the Portuguese version of the game? You could try using DLGEdit which is a tool I made for editing/navigating dialog files. It doesn't have full support for other languages, but you could try it out. Click on my signature below to download.

I thought it might be better to use kor38b_mekel.dlg -- the one where you have the opportunity to save him. (Light side)

 

Here are the files that will allow you to recruit Mekel. I haven't tried them out because I don't have a savegame near that area and I don't feel like setting all the appropriate Globals after warping my way there.

 

All I did pretty much was rip-off the Yuthura mod. Hopefully it will be enough to get you started on Lashowe.

As for Lashowe , I just re-edited the things you did for Mekel and changed into lashowe. In the nss file I changed 7 (T3) into 3 (HK) , and in the script I changed p_mekel into p_lashowe and then added this script to the dialog I wanted to change, however as usual it didn't work. What's is the stupidity that I did now?

I don't know why Mekel is replicating. Gameunlimited may have more insight on it.

 

As for Lashowe, you'll have to extract her .utc file from one of the Korriban modules and edit it. Make sure you set her Tag to "T3M4" or "HK-47". Also make sure you read this thread for more information about recruiting NPCs.
