StormSinger
I'm wondering if there is a practical damage limit on the weapon itself. I've modded several double sabers with various types of damage and at one point the damage (when equipped) becomes 1-67 (or 1-69 if I boost my str) even though the max in the weapon stats amounts to over 80. I'll mention again that I'm modding on an xbox, so I've been wondering if it's an xbox problem, or if the PC version does anything similar. All damage types are set to 2d12, or +5 if it's a simple damage bonus. Just curious.
Amf12345
I don't think there is a limit to how much damage a saber can do. At one point I accidentally set the physical damage to 200, instead of 20!
StormSinger
Before I started modding items I had characters with DEX boosted to triple digits and they could do 100+ damage with a standard saber, but that was only because of the physical attributes. Now that I'm making the weapon itself more powerful, it seems to be hitting a ceiling. Sounds like an xbox version issue.
dj_owen
i've heard of this on the xbox too. i'm sure you've heard of the level-up glitch to raise your attributes, someone used to it get to like +122 strength (255 overall), and they complained that they were only hitting for like 50-70 dam per hit, which i could do with a strength rating of 50. there must be some kind of ceiling for the damage on lightsabers on the xbox. StormSinger
Yeah, I was using that glitch the day it was first posted and still use it. I've had the problem of a character that was too strong and when they made a critical hit, the damage rolled over the max the game can calculate and into the negative values. They were hitting for pathetic numbers.
