Guest Cloud Posted April 11, 2000 Posted April 11, 2000 Don't anyone agrees with me that an X-wing's laser in the game should sound more realistic? Look at the Star Wars Triogy Arcade game. It had the most realistic X-Wing laser sound I ever heard.

For instance while I was playing the original X-Wing, the laser sounds of the X-Wing and TIE Fighter are terrible, but when playing X-Wing Alliance. The sound of the TIE Fighter is soo realistic, the X-Wing greatly improve too. However if only somehow it can be sound more like the movie.

Flying Beastie Posted April 13, 2000 Posted April 13, 2000 They're called laser weapons because the laser ignites a charged packet of spin-sealed blaster gas. The blaster's focussing coils then focus the released energy in a certain direction.
