im up to page ten of Texture_Extraction_with_Photoshop

Once again you havent been specific about this..

there are lots of layers to choose , its simple but what do you want that texture to be on? an Item , armor , weapon.. ?

P.S to me it looks like a texture for a lightsaber hilt or a sword blade.

they were ripped off the texture extraction thing...

*edit*i think i know how to add the pattern... but my question still remains about howto make a new pattern

Ah lets see, well i got an idea instead of new patterns. Carve out the armor and ctrl + c (copy) then open a new pic and paste it in

and then from there open your texture and carve out bits that will fit. i am sure there is other ways but this is soo simple even for newbie skinners :D
