Darth_Dude Posted July 1, 2004 Share Posted July 1, 2004 I bought this game about a week and a half ago and not since i bought my xbox and Halo with it have i played a game every waking moment besides work. The game is absolute greatness and fun. Now for the darker side of my story. First my big problem. I jsut got through in Mannaan. Went into the Ebon Hawk and traveled to Krshyyk or whatever the Wookie planet is. Went outside with a couple of people. walked a bit and Bastila said to go get the Wookie. Eventhough im dark i have a soft side for Wookies. So i go back into the Ship. Realize that i have a couple of good guns on my little droid and some stuff that i want to take off Orloodoo or whoever the guy is that use to work for Davik. So i take those things off, level up Orloodoo proceed back into the Hawk to get the Wookie and Bastila and the game crashes. Not to my desktop or anything but just freezes all black. Cntrl-Alt-Del and it says its not responding. I have to end it and go back in. It didnt save when i got out on the new planet so luckily i did save right before i left Mannaan. Just to see if it was a flook i did it again, same crash. Then i tried the exact same thing on Mannaan before i left, and guess what, it happened again. Ive come across a few annoyances during theis game, mainly the one where, Bioware left the ability to talk to pary member during pauses in a battle. Which is a pain in ass. Why the hell would i want to hit on bastila while fight a 3 dark jedis. Its just stupid to leave it in there. Anyway, when i installed the game i did an update and instead of DLing all the patches myself and installing them i used the auto update from the game. It only DLed patch v3. I do apologize for not putting this in the Work Bench forum but noticed that there were hardly any posts in there and i was hoping to get more attention here. Darth_Dude Posted July 1, 2004 Author Share Posted July 1, 2004 Also: My specs: WinXP 1.4gig P4 GF FX 5600 256MB/DX 9.0b 640 MB RAM (crappy SD kind i think) Sound Blaster Live Value and i had been playing for 8 hours straight. But, if anyone isnt terribly busy, and has nothing to do at the moment they are reading this thread, could someone copy and paste it at the bioware forums, and post a reply with a link to the thread.
