SOS X-Wing Alliance Trophy Challenge - $200 cash prizes

Hi,

 

Just to let you know that the Special Operations Squadron (SOS) is currently organising a competition around X-Wing Alliance.

 

There are now $200 in cash prizes (yep, we've just doubled the kitty!), including $100 for the winner.

 

The $200 must be won - the competition will not close before we have winners.

 

To enter the competition (which is open to everybody), you need to download a custom mission (available from the SOS site). The first person who completes the mission in the fastest time and holds onto his/her record for 26 weeks will win the top prize. There are cash prizes for 2nd and 3rd places, too.

 

Current leader completed mission in 4:17. You can download his/her clip to get (steal ?) his/her strategies/tactics and, of course, better the time !

Entry to your elite squadron takes a lot of time, but I think that it will be worthy...

hmm...how often is the results page updated?

 

I sent in a couple results a few days ago...

I certainly don't update the site every other day!

 

But all participants receive an acknowledgement by e-mail (within 72 hours), followed by a confirmation e-mail that their time has been accepted (or not!).

 

As far as you're concerned, your first time has now been posted, and I'm currently working on a batch of entries which includes your second (improved) time. Relax, the competition will last 6 months !
