vomder
I've seen a few people mention that they have used a mod for the pc on the xbox. And I was wondering just how this works, just curious really. Since I have the PX version it doesn't really matter.
balaco
It is done in much of the same way as the PC version. You must have a modded xbox! First you copy the game from the dvd to the hard drive on the xbox. Then you add a override folder in the same folder that your default.xbe is in. Then you ftp the modded files into the override folder.
Prevch
does this work with all mods?
DragonXero666
Mods on an X-Box? Blasphemy! We suffered for months waiting for this game to come out, and we just got a new "planet" and some new items. Then an update came out and added those to the XBox version. Come on, we gotta have some advantage for all our waiting! X-) But seriously, this is cool. I didn't even think this would be possible for the X-Box. I thought the coding would be different. But then, thinking about it, why would it be much different? The X-Box is just a glorified PC as it is. In any case, it's a good thing I don't have an X-Box, I'd have to use this all the time! Query: Can you use KSE on X-Box savegames?
StormSinger
I'm working on a way to transfer an override folder via save to unmodded xboxes. It works fine on my system, but it needs testing by people who use an AR or MXkey. If it works out for them, it should be possible to add mods to saves as long as the size remains within the space limitations of the transfer device.
